Type specimen: M1 inf.dext. (PIMUZ A/V 1472), paleontological institute and museum Zürich, a tooth. Its type locality is Grat-Kirchberg 935m, Sankt Gallen ("Assemblage"-Zone), which is in a MN 7 + 8 floodplain marl in Switzerland.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Grat-Kirchberg 935m, Sankt Gallen ("Assemblage"-Zone)
