Type specimen: University of Antananarivo 8651, a set of limb elements (left distal tibiotarsus and complete tarsometatarsus found in articulation). Its type locality is MAD93-18 (SUNY), which is in a Maastrichtian channel sandstone in the Maevarano Formation of Madagascar.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
