Type specimen: University of Antananarivo 8656, a partial skeleton (largely complete postcranial skeleton). Its type locality is MAD93-18 (SUNY), which is in a Maastrichtian channel sandstone in the Maevarano Formation of Madagascar.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at MAD93-18 (SUNY)
