Type specimen: IPB-HaH 5297, a tooth (M1 sup. sin.). Its type locality is Hambach mine horizon 6C, which is in a MN 5 paralic lignite/claystone in the Ville Formation of Germany.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Hambach mine horizon 6C
