Type specimen: YPM 1879, a set of limb elements (pes). Its type locality is Quarry 1A, Como Bluff (YPM), which is in a Kimmeridgian/Tithonian channel sandstone in the Morrison Formation of Wyoming.

Distribution: found only at Quarry 1A, Como Bluff (YPM)
