Type specimen: MPM-10001, a skeleton. Its type locality is Cerro Los Hornos (Talenkauen locality), which is in a Campanian fluvial mudstone/sandstone in the Cerro Fortaleza Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Cerro Los Hornos (Talenkauen locality)
