Type specimen: BYU 9047, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Dominguez/Jones Quarry, which is in a Kimmeridgian wet floodplain mudstone in the Morrison Formation of Colorado.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Dominguez/Jones Quarry
