Type specimen: IVPP V 17731.1, a maxilla. Its type locality is Urtyn Obo; IVPP locality 1991004, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Ulan Gocho Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore-insectivore
Distribution: found only at Urtyn Obo; IVPP locality 1991004
