  • Stichomys diminutus: Its type locality is Cerro Observatorio, which is in a Santacrucian terrestrial horizon in the Santa Cruz Formation of Argentina.

• Miocene of Argentina (18 collections), Bolivia (1), Chile (1), Colombia (2)
