  • Progonomys woelferi: NHMW 1970/1395, maxillary fragment with M1, M2, a maxilla. Its type locality is Kohfidisch, which is in a MN 11 terrestrial horizon in Austria.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore-insectivore

Distribution:

• Miocene of Austria (2 collections), France (1), Greece (2), Spain (1)

Total: 6 collections each including a single occurrence
