Belongs to Cricetulodon according to M. Freudenthal et al. 1998
Sister taxa: Cricetulodon bugesiensis, Cricetulodon lucentensis, Cricetulodon meini, Cricetulodon sabadellensis
Type specimen: IPMC PEC 585, a tooth (m1 inf. sin.). Its type locality is Pedregueras II C, which is in the Vallesian of horizon Spain.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
