Sister taxa: Dinosorex anatolicus, Dinosorex engesseri, Dinosorex pachygnathus, Dinosorex sansaniensis, Dinosorex zapfei
Type specimen: Museum Olten Rb 101, a mandible (sin. with 1 fragm., m1-m3). Its type locality is Rickenbach, which is in a MP 29 terrestrial horizon in Switzerland.
Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore
Distribution:
• Oligocene of Switzerland (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
