Type specimen: IVPP V.8323, a limb element (complete right humerus). Its type locality is Gonglantou Oil Shale Mine, which is in a Lutetian mire/swamp shale/coal in the Huadian Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Gonglantou Oil Shale Mine
