Lophorhinus willodenensis

Taxonomy
Lophorhinus willodenensis was named by Sidor and Smith (2007). Its type specimen is SAM-PK-K6655, a partial skull (anterior half of skull lacking lower jaws and most of palate), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Willodene Farm, Locality 12, which is in a Wuchiapingian crevasse splay siltstone/mudstone in the Teekloof Formation of South Africa. It is the type species of Lophorhinus.
