It was assigned to Brachiosauridae by You and Li (2009); to Titanosauriformes by Mannion (2011) and Mannion and Calvo (2011); to Somphospondyli by Ksepka and Norell (2010), Mannion et al. (2013) and You et al. (2019); and to Euhelopodidae by D'Emic (2012), Mannion et al. (2017) and Mannion et al. (2019).
