Mendozasaurus neguyelap

Taxonomy
Mendozasaurus neguyelap was named by González-Riga (2003). Its type specimen is IANIGLA-PV 065, a set of vertebrae (Caudal vertebrae and chevrons), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Arroyo Seco, Cerro Guillermo (lower), which is in a Coniacian/Coniacian crevasse splay sandstone/mudstone in the Sierra Barrosa Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Mendozasaurus.
