Taxonomy
Repenomamus was named by Li et al. (2000). It is not extant. Its type is Repenomamus robustus.
It was assigned to Repenomamidae by Hu et al. (2005) and Zhou and Wang (2010); and to Gobiconodontidae by Kielan-Jaworowska et al. (2004), Gao et al. (2010) and Martin et al. (2015).
