Eritherium azzouzorum
Taxonomy
Eritherium azzouzorum was named by Gheerbrant (2009). Its type specimen is MNHN PM69, a partial skull (rostrum preserving max with P3-4 and M1-3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Quarry A4, Sidi Chennane, which is in a Thanetian marine phosphorite in the Couche II Formation of Morocco. It is the type species of Eritherium.
