Woolagia playfordi
Taxonomy
Woolagia playfordi was named by Archbold (1997). Its type specimen is UWA 34285c, a shell (Internal mould of conjoined shell), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Glendevon Homestead, Woolaga Creek, Irwin River District, Perth Basin, which is in an Artinskian shoreface sandstone in the High Cliff Sandstone Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Woolagia.
