Taxonomy
Atelodictyon stelliferum was named by Stearn (1961). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Fairholme Reef Complex, Ram Range, which is in a Frasnian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Cairn Formation of Canada.
