Taxonomy
Radiotrabeculopora astrorhiza was named by Fan et al. (1991). Its type specimen is IG 0177 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Huajiaoping Reef, Lichuan, which is in a Changhsingian reef, buildup or bioherm framestone/reef rocks in the Changxing Formation of China.
