Taxonomy
Harpeola was named by Dall (1907) [Synonym of Lyria Gray 1847 [Darragh 1989]]. Its type is Lyria anna.

It was synonymized subjectively with Lyria by Darragh (1989); it was reranked as Lyria (Harpeola) by Harzhauser et al. (2009).

It was assigned to Lyria by Harzhauser et al. (2009).
