Taxonomy
Taublatta dubiosa was named by Martynov (1937). Its type specimen is PIN 53/35, a tegmen (tegmen missing base & clavus), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Shurab II, Ditch 63(8) (PIN collection 53, which is in a Toarcian terrestrial horizon in the Sulyukta Formation of Kyrgyzstan.
