It was assigned to Anomalininae by Cushman (1927), Bertels (1964); to Planulininae by Mailhe et al. (1967); to Planulinae by Loeblich and Tappan (1984); to Anomalinidae by Wienrich (1997); to Foraminiferida by Sepkoski (2002); to Planulinidae by Margerel (2012); and to Planorbulinidae by Al Menoufy and Shreif (2021).
