Taxonomy
Hukouscytina duracina was named by Lin (1986). Its type specimen is NIGP 70044, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is H1, Hukou village, Changting County, which is in a Triassic terrestrial mudstone in the Guanyintan Formation of China.
