Taxonomy
Lepidoleptaena poulseni was named by Kelly (1967) [= Strophomena rhomboidalis (WILCKENS). - DAVIDSON 1871 281, pl. 39 figs. 1,10, 11, 15 (non pl. 39 figs. 2-9, 12--14, 16-21). = Lepidoleptaena sp. BASSETT & COCKS 1974 15.]. Its type specimen is BU 889, a valve (dorsal valve), and it is a 3D body fossil.
