Tetrapodophis amplectus

Taxonomy
Tetrapodophis amplectus was named by Martill et al. (2015). Its type specimen is BMMS BK 2-2, a skeleton (Mostly complete skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nova Olinda quarries, which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large lime mudstone/mudstone in the Crato Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Tetrapodophis.
