Taxonomy
Adolomys ameristus was named by Shevyreva (1989). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tsagan Khushu Quarry 1 [SMPE], which is in a Bumbanian terrestrial gravel in the Naran Bulak Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Adolomys.
