Taxonomy
Kherem hsandgoliensis was named by Minjin (2004). Its type specimen is MAE-SG--97-2110, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tashgain Bel, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial claystone in the Hsanda Gol Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Kherem.
