Neophiomys minutus
Taxonomy
Neophiomys minutus was named by Marivaux et al. (2017). Its type specimen is DAK-Pto-011, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dakhla, Porto Rico, U4 level C2, which is in an Oligocene estuary/bay conglomerate in the Samlat Formation of Morocco.
