Taxonomy
Turbonilla (Pyrgolampros) arnoldi was named by Dall and Bartsch (1903). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Turbonilla arnoldi by Woodring and Bramlette (1950) and Woodring and Bramlette (1950); it was recombined as Pyrgolampros arnoldi by Hendy (2021).

Synonyms
  • Turbonilla (Pyrgolampros) collisellae was named by Oldroyd (1925) [appears in the occurrence list as "Turbonilla (Pyrgolampros) collisellae" and in the species description as "Turbonilla (Pyrgolampros) collisella"]. Its type specimen is USNM 333507 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nob Hill cut, San Pedro, which is in a Pleistocene marine horizon in the San Pedro Sand Formation of California.

    It was synonymized subjectively with Pyrgolampros arnoldi by Hendy (2021).
