Celsiodon
Taxonomy
Celsiodon was named by Clack et al. (2019) [Prearticular plate with at least 6 ridges, and possibly up to 8. Ridge 1 bears c. 5 large and laterally compressed teeth, but with at least one more at the labial end. Teeth on ridge 1 anteriorly-orientated and laterally flattened cones, much larger than teeth on other ridges, which are simple cones. Pterygoid tooth plate with 7 or 8 ridges, at least 4 teeth on each ridge. Tooth ridge angle of prearticular plate 110° to 130° and the pterygoid plate 90° to 100°. Parasphenoid with diamond-shaped anterior plate merging gradually into the stem, stem narrowest near the plate and broadening slightly towards the posterior end. The stem bears two slightly diverging longitudinal ridges. B-bone a hexagon slightly longer than broad.].
