Taxonomy
Polinices susanaensis was named by Nelson (1925) [m. kosnik taxon no: 10103]. Its type specimen is UC 30711, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Polinices (Polinices) susanaensis by Marincovich (1977).
