Williams et al. 2000Shell suboval, slightly unequivalved; both valves with shallow sulcus; ventral pseudointerarea lacking flexure lines, with narrow, deep pedicle groove bisected by furrow; dorsal pseudointerarea raised, undivided, flattened; ventral visceral area slightly thickened, extending to midvalve, divided by two broad, divergent ridges; dorsal visceral area slightly thickened, bisected by low median ridge, with narrow, long, anterior projection extending almost to anterior margin; dorsal central muscle scars small; ventral vascula lateralia submedian, converging; dorsal vascula lateralia submarginal, slightly arcuate.
