Eosynechococcus medius
Taxonomy
Eosynechococcus medius was named by Hofmann (1976). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is GSC 43588 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 43588, north end of Churchill Sound, Belcher Islands, which is in an Orosirian peritidal dolomite in the Kasegalik Formation of Canada.
