Myxococcoides minor
Taxonomy
Myxococcoides minor was named by Schopf (1968). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Harvard Univ. 58479; stage coordinates 30.5 x 122.0 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is North of Ross River Tourist Camp, which is in a Tonian peritidal chert in the Bitter Springs Formation of Australia.
