Myxomorpha janecekii
Taxonomy
Myxomorpha janecekii was named by Muir (1976). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is CPC 15616, 103.4:18.9 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tawallah Pocket No. 1 core, 41.9 m depth, which is in a Statherian peritidal dolomite in the Amelia Dolomite Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Myxomorpha.
