Taxonomy
Cretaxenomerus deangelis was named by Ulmer and Krogmann (2023). Its type specimen is LU 810H, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Lebanese amber, Mdeyrij-Hammana (LU collection), which is in a Barremian terrestrial amber in Lebanon.
