Elkania hamburgensis

Taxonomy
Tellinomya hamburgensis was named by Walcott (1884). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is East slope of ridge east of the Hamburg Ridge, which is in a Blackhillsian carbonate limestone in the Goodwin Formation of Nevada.

It was recombined as Ctenodonta hamburgensis by Ulrich (1894); it was recombined as Elkania hamburgensis by Ulrich and Cooper (1938).
