L. W. Stephenson 1952 | The genotype is a small, fusiform, rather plump shell having the spire and aperture of about equal length. Protoconch worn but apparently small, smooth, lowturbinate. Sutures deeply impressed . . Surface covered with closely spaced microscopic spiral lirae. Growth lines broadly sinuous. Aperture lanceolate, sharply rounded at the rear, passing in front into a short, open sipho:q.al canal. Outer lip thin, dentate on inner surface a little back of the edge. Inner lip forming a thick callus. Columella with 2 strong folds. |
