Taxonomy
Drillia inadrina was named by Mansfield (1925) [DISTRIBUTION: Miocene; Trinidad and Tobago.]. Its type specimen is USNM 352638, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Syntomodrillia inadrina by Woodring (1928) and Hendy et al. (2008).
