Paralepidosteus africanus
Taxonomy
Paralepidosteus africanus was named by Arambourg and Joleaud (1943). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Tanout, Damergou, which is in a Cretaceous marine horizon in Niger. It is the type species of Paralepidosteus.
