Taxonomy
Paleoheterodon tiheni was named by Holman (1964). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Norden Bridge Quarry, which is in a Barstovian channel sandstone in the Valentine Formation of Nebraska. It is the type species of Paleoheterodon.
