Hagenow 1851The polyp hive is grown, calcareous, firm, circular and hollowed out in the middle of the upper surface; It consists of short, smooth-mouthed tubular cells which radiate from the periphery and are directed towards the central cavity, and here are rounded at their narrower end. Just a kind of fossil in the chalk.
