Crenatocetus rayi

Taxonomy
Crenatocetus rayi was named by McLeod and Barnes (2008). Its type specimen is USNM 392014, a mandible (posterior portions of both dentaries with P/4 and molars), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Martin Marietta New Bern Quarry, Castle Hayne Formation, which is in an Eocene coastal limestone in the Castle Hayne Formation of North Carolina.
