Hecetastoma gehrelsi
Taxonomy
Hecetastoma gehrelsi was named by Rohr and Blodgett (2008). Its type specimen is USNM 528229, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 2002RB32, which is in a Ludlow carbonate wackestone/packstone in the Heceta Limestone Formation of Alaska. It is the type species of Hecetastoma.
