Diplocaulus brevirostris
Taxonomy
Diplocaulus brevirostris was named by Olson (1951). Its type specimen is AMNH 4470, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Coffee Creek, 34 (Arroyo Formation), which is in a Kungurian terrestrial claystone/sandstone in the Arroyo Formation of Texas.
