Taxonomy
Dirrymoceras was named by Hyatt (1900) [Sepkoski's age data: K Barr-u K Apti-l]. It is not extant. Its type is Ancyloceras simplex.

It was assigned to Ancyloceratinae by Arkell et al. (1957); and to Ammonoidea by Sepkoski (2002).
