Agadirichnus elegans

Taxonomy
Agadirichnus elegans was named by Ambroggi and Lapparent (1954). Its type specimen is FSA.G.54 (neotype), a footprint (isolated pes print), and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Tagannt n'ait Salah tracksite, which is in a Maastrichtian shallow subtidal sandstone in the Tagragra Formation of Morocco. It is the type species of Agadirichnus.

It was considered a nomen dubium by Sánchez-Hernández et al. (2009).

M. Masrour et al. 2018Large (77–170 mm long) elongate tetradactyl and plantigrade pes prints with rounded heel and subparallel edges. Pes digits are elongate, well separated and often incompletely marked in the median portion. Central pes digits (II and III) longer than external digits (I and IV). Robust tridactyl manus prints, with short and rounded digit I, without claw mark.
