It was assigned to Titanosauriformes by Hocknull et al. (2009), Mannion and Calvo (2011), D'Emic (2012), Mannion et al. (2013) and Salisbury et al. (2016); to Titanosauria by Filippi et al. (2019); to Diamantinasauria by Rigby et al. (2021); and to Somphospondyli by Poropat et al. (2015), Mannion et al. (2019) and Apesteguía et al. (2021).
